The Fine Print

This blog was started as a project to build my writing portfolio for a University Creative Writing course, by giving me semi-daily writing practice.

I post what’s on my mind, and let’s just say that if you were able to see inside my head, you would be horrified to discover that it is almost as cluttered as my minivan. So, in keeping with that,  my blog entries will perform a cathartic and cleansing function. You may find recipes, rants, brags and self promotional quasi-propaganda (hey, female writers need to be aggressive) or some of my shorter fiction pieces. I will rarely (and only with their permission) name friends, aquaintances or family members. Luckily I am good at rhyming and using descriptive adjectives. So, for example, a large teacher friend named Saul may be presented as “a porcine preacher named Paul.” See how I did that? Eh? Clever, huh? Man, I am SO good at this…
