Somehow, after 37 Christmas celebrations, countless retellings of Christ’s birth story, and at least 2 midnight mass attendances, I still managed to miss the part of the spear wielding caped Lego skeleton riding in on a horse to be part of the Nativity.
When you have kids, you learn so much.

Maybe he is there to protect baby Jesus???
That’s what I’m hoping it means…
..I am so glad that although 400kms away…I still get to read your stories…it is truly enjoyable…love it!
Ugh, that’s a *lance* not a spear. Pfff… Grown-ups… I know, i know, NOW it all make sense…
Oh my.. Got to love kids,
So cute!
Do you hear what I hear…?
A skeleton-Lego horse-dude!
Isn’t that one of the riders of the apocalypse? See, the child just has the books of the NT mixed up, Revelations with the 4 Gospels. No problem.
Personally, I rather like this version. Great post.
That is damn funny, I lost my baby jesus and replaced it with a green alien, really pissed my mother in law off (she gave me the set). I just donated it to Goodwill, I wonder what the person who buys it will think of the alien, LOL
I love these manger play scenes.
My kids put gumby and pokey in the year.
My mom got all pissed off, but I loved it.
fantastic!!!
Never mind the spear/skeleton guy… is that a salt lick?
